Welcome to my website! I'm excited to share a bit about myself and my diverse range of experiences. My name is Norbert Gronde, and I am a highly accomplished drummer, esteemed educator, published author, and an active member of the vibrant German drumming community.
With a deep passion for drumming, I have pursued extensive training and education in this field. I hold two certifications as a drum teacher, having completed a Private School Diploma with a perfect grade of 1, making me the youngest and highest-achieving graduate in the program's history. Additionally, I obtained a state-recognized qualification as a drum teacher, also achieving the top grade of 1. My dedication to continuous learning has led me to study under esteemed drummers such as Dom Famularo, Claus Hessler, and the renowned Billy Martin of Medeski, Martin and Wood fame.
Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to collaborate with renowned artists, including the talented Andreas Bourani and Schlager star Nicole. I've also had the privilege of being a part of the trommel formation "Drum-Stars" for many years, showcasing our rhythmic talents to captivated audiences.
My performances have been featured on prominent television shows like the ZDF Fernsehgarten, Viva, and MTV. I have also embarked on tours across Germany with various acts, including notable appearances with Andreas Bourani, Nicole, and the Drum-Stars. These experiences have allowed me to share my drumming prowess and connect with music lovers nationwide.
My involvement in the drumming community extends beyond performing and teaching. As the Vice President of the "Percussion Creativ" association, I actively contribute to the growth and development of percussionists in Germany. In addition to my educational initiatives, I have published two drumming books that offer valuable insights and guidance to aspiring drummers. Furthermore, I have developed card games specifically designed for drummers, further solidifying my commitment to fostering creativity and enjoyment within the drumming community.
Known for my exceptional creativity and pedagogical approach, I am highly regarded as a prominent figure within the drumming scene. I strive to inspire and empower fellow drummers through my innovative teaching methods and my unwavering dedication to the art of drumming.

I'm a huge fan of Black Metal, which stands out a bit in my vinyl collection, but I really listen to ALMOST EVERYTHING because there is good music in every genre, and I can get excited about many different styles.

Movies and More:
Yes, I'm a Netflixian, and before that, I had a massive DVD collection. You can catch my attention with:
Anything from Marvel, anything from DC (Batman, my big hero), Star Wars, Blade Runner, The Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, Sons of Anarchy, Breaking Bad, 24, anything from Arnie, anything from Stallone - If it's action-packed, I love it. I'm always ready to recommend a movie, and it's been said that I know many movie quotes by heart. Give it a try if you see me somewhere...but maybe I have to quote something in my first language, wich is german, haha!
Books:
I'm a big fan of H.P. Lovecraft and Asian philosophy, so books like "The Book of Five Rings," "The Art of War," "Hagakure," "Bushido" (the book, NOT the music), "Karate Do," and so on.
Nerdy Hobby: I collect action figures from the 80s, mainly Masters of the Universe, but also M.A.S.K. or other cool individual figures.

Herzlich willkommen auf meiner Website! Ich freue mich, ein wenig über mich selbst und meine vielfältigen Erfahrungen zu teilen. Mein Name ist Norbert Gronde, und ich bin ein leidenschaftlicher Schlagzeuger, engagierter Pädagoge, Autor und aktives Mitglied der deutschen Schlagzeuger-Szene.
Die Welt des Schlagzeugspielens fasziniert mich seit jeher, und ich habe meine Leidenschaft durch umfangreiche Ausbildungen und Weiterbildungen vertieft. 

Ich habe zwei Zertifizierungen als Schlagzeuglehrer erworben, darunter ein Privatschuldiplom, bei dem ich mit Bestnote 1 abschloss, als jüngster und gleichzeitig bester Absolvent der Ausbildungshistorie. Zusätzlich erlangte ich die staatliche Anerkennung als Schlagzeuglehrer, ebenfalls mit der bestmöglichen Bewertung. 

Mein Wunsch nach kontinuierlichem Wachstum am Instrument führte mich dazu, bei Dom Famularo und Billy Martin von Medeski, Martin and Wood in den U.S.A. zu studieren. Außerdem war ich lange Zeit Schüler von Claus Hessler
Im Laufe meiner Karriere durfte ich mit verschiedenen renommierten Künstlern zusammenarbeiten, darunter Andreas Bourani und Schlagerstar Nicole. Zudem war ich viele Jahre lang Mitglied der Trommelformation "Drum-Stars".
Ich war zu sehen in Fernsehsendungen wie dem ZDF Fernsehgarten, lief auf Viva und MTV. Außerdem durfte ich auf Tourneen in ganz Deutschland mit verschiedenen Künstlern auftreten.
Mein Engagement in der Schlagzeuger-Szene geht über das Spielen und Unterrichten hinaus. Ehrenamtlich, als Vizepräsident des Vereins "Percussion Creativ" setze ich mich aktiv für das Wachstum und die Entwicklung unserer Drumming Community ein. Neben meiner Unterrichtstätigkeit habe ich auch zwei Schlagzeug-Bücher veröffentlicht und arbeite derzeit an diversen Kartenspielen für Drummer und vielem mehr.
Vermutlich bin ich wohl für meine außergewöhnliche Kreativität und meine pädagogischen Herangehensweisen in der Drummer-Szene bekannt. Mein Ziel ist es, andere Schlagzeuger durch innovative Lehrmethoden zu inspirieren und zu unterstützen und meine unerschütterliche Hingabe für die Kunst des Schlagzeugspielens weiterzugeben.

Ich bin großer Black Metal Fan, das ragt so ein bisschen in meiner Vinyl Sammlung heraus, aber Ich höre wirklich nahezu ALLES, weil es in jeder Musikrichtung Gute Musik gibt und Ich mich für vieles Begeistern kann.
